Alright, so I've been looking forward to this ever since I heard Liam Neeson was in it, and he is playing ZEUS, what a fitting role for a great, great, GREAT actor. I looked into the cast and heres my impressions so far:

Sam Worthington as Perseus, past role: Marcus Wright(Terminator, fuck yes), and upcoming Avatar star Jake Sully! He was also Macbeth, which I will look into since I love that story . So, I give him a fuck yes.

Gemma Arterton as Io. Past roles: Quantum of Solace as Strawberry Fields(Forever~), and upcoming Prince of Persia(which better not fail), Tamina. I liked QoS so I have to say ok on her.

Ralph Fiennes as Hades. Past roles: VOLDEMORT. Yes, they got Voldie as the big bad Lord of the Underworld, I see that as a MAJOR step up. However, me not being an HP fan doesn't make me go for it, but him being in In Bruges, The Reader, and one movie that really stunned me, The Hurt Locker, I give him a giant thumbs up.

as mentioned earlier, LIAM FUCKING NEESON AS ZEUS! REason numero uno to see this damned thing. PAst roles: Rhas Al-Ghul(Batman Begins), Narnia as Aslan, GAngs of New York as Priest Vallon(my fav character in the movie), QUI GON FUCKING JIN. But wait, theres more, Schindler's List as Oskar Schindler, Rob Roy as Rob Roy, LES MISERLAB AS VALJEAN(love the book), EX-FUCKING-CALBUR as GAWAIN, also he was the epic main character from Taken, fatherly rage ftw. Did you piss yourself yet? Yeah, you love Mr. Neeson and you know it now, so count down for this damn thing to come out.

BUT WAIT THERES MORE! Can they live up to Mr. Neeson's greatness combined? WEll, fuck no, buts lets check em out anyways from their last movies.

Alexa Davalos - Andromeda. DEFIANCE! She was Lilka Ticktin! Booyah, a great movie, and she was good so booyah again!

Danny Huston - Poseidon. No clue what his last movie was so lets note his great ones 30 Days of Night as Marlow(Mr. Big Bad Fuckface Vampire), and GENERAL STRYKER IN XMEN ORIGINS~.

Izabella Miko - Athena. Kochaj i tancz (2009) .... Hania ... aka Love and Dance (International:
English title) <From IMBD, and have no fucking clue who she is. But, she better not fuck up Athena, or I will call the wrath of not just the Greek, but the Roman Gods as well to smite her and her fail!(Kidding, kinda, not really, yeah I'm kidding hopefully)

Thats enough of the cast, looks good so far. HOWEVER, yes, theres more, the original story has been F'ed with, and that.isn't.nice. I know I know, mythology itself has no "definite" translation, but what the hell its a movie, I wanna see the same story as the old one with the claymation Krakken. Those were the memories I have from it, that, and the robo-owl from Athena. I always lold at that thinking that it should burn with Hades, being Cerberus' snuggle toy. YES SNUGGLE TOY. ANYWAYS, they changed it to be very....generic, go figure. Put simply, Perseus is born of a God and woman(Zeus and Io) and apparently Hades is trying to overthrow Zeus. Sound like the countless movies of the past? Not yet? Well, poor hopeless Perseus takes it upon himself to try and stop it, with some friend. Well, I'm not sure but I'm PRETTY sure in the first one Athena asked him to do it, but I haven't seen it/read it in years so my memory might be flinging monkey shit.

All in all, the trailer looks epic! Tons of CGI and a giant Scorpion, and I swear I saw Super Bitch Megan Fox, but it might've been Medusa.
